The UK's largest, most established show for the early years and childcare sector returns on 7 & 8 February at the Business Design Centre, London, with several brand-new special features. For the first time, the show will feature The NannyHub, sponsored by BAPN, providing unrivalled support, guidance and information for nannies.
The Nursery World Show continues to increase its influence in and value to the early years sector through its delivery of high-value content for visitors, and in turn high-value visitors for a wide range of exhibitors, partners and sponsors. Every year, the Nursery World Show develops new and exciting features, with 2020 marking the arrival of The NannyHub. This new feature area, sponsored by BAPN – the association for professional nannies - aims to boost the professional development of visitors and raise the profile of the nanny profession.
The NannyHub will be a vibrant, engaging and welcoming feature area with a core aim of supporting the professionalisation of nannies as a key segment of the early years and childcare sector. A wide range of experts from partner organisations will be on hand, including Nannytax, Tinies Childcare, CACHE, The Curiosity Approach and Avail Learning Academy. During the show, nannies and those visitors closely connected with the work that nannies undertake will be able to discuss their needs, challenges and ambitions with a wide range of experts and enjoy dedicated sessions to help boost professional development.
Consisting of two lively, exciting areas based side by side at the front of the show, The NannyHub is sure to make a big impact in its first year. One one side, visitors will find a hub where nannies can spend time discussing their needs, questions and ambitions with a wide range of experts all drawn from The NannyHub’s partner organisations and from BAPN itself. Visitors will gain advice, support and guidance on in a number of areas, including:
Payroll, pensions, nanny insurance and contracts
Affordable, online training in safeguarding, food allergies, behaviour management and first aid
Qualifications including T level, health & social care, playwork, early years educator and more
The Curiosity Approach
To boost the support and engagement with nannies even further, there will be a purpose-built theatre area opposite The NannyHub, where topical sessions all relevant to nannies will be presented by advocates for nannies, and for the professionalisation of this core part of the early years workforce.
With over 3,000 visitors to the show every year, the Nursery World Show 2020 is the ideal environment to launch The NannyHub as a brand-new feature, embedded at the very heart of the show. Furthermore, with support from the Nursery World publishing brand alongside a major marketing drive to promote The NannyHub and the show overall, the sector can look forward to participating in an event designed to truly support everyone across the sector. The show is free to attend, will be packed with exhibitors, special features, free-to-access content to support learning and a CPD-certified seminar stream with Early Bird pricing available until early December.
