Article Submission Guidelines
BAPN is very happy to accept guest articles and blogs, in fact we encourage members, potential members, non-competitors, and all those with an interest in the childcare and early years sector to write to us and submit articles for publication.

To advance the learning and professional status of nannies UK wide
To facilitate personal development of all those working in home childcare.
We do not pay for contributions
Types of content accepted
We accept opinion pieces or how-to articles. However, we are unable to accept anything ‘sales-focused’.
We will only accept original posts, the content of which you must have full ownership of.
New posts are published weekly and notified to our members and followers via Facebook and Instagram.
Post length: Post length should be no more than 1000 words.
Image requirements: We do not restrict the number of images you submit to accompany your post but stipulate that one should be of you, the author. If a company, we will include your company logo. If the images are not yours, you MUST cite image sources to ensure your article / blog avoids plagiarism.
Links to your own website is accepted. However, third party links cannot be included.

Accepted formats & Editing: We accept Word docs. We reserve the right to edit your headlines, and body content. However, no work will be published before we’ve received your approval of any changes made.
Point of submission: All submissions should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
What comes next?
Once we’ve received your submission, we will confirm receipt within 48 hours. We aim to notify all contributors of acceptance / decline within 7 days of receipt. If accepting your submission, we will forward to you a Guest Author Agreement for your signature. Once returned we will be in a position to provide you with a publication date. Please Note: We are under no obligation to provide a reason for decline, but it is our policy to do so in most cases.
